Two bedroom apartment with use of pool
The apartment is located in the Zodiac complex in Illetes, which is a residential area spread over the slopes of a mountain with white villas and old-fashioned hotels. It takes its name from a group of 3 islets just off the coast. Ten minutes by bus from the center of Palma and less then a 5-minute drive from the local golf course at Bendiat.
It is a convenient and popular holiday destination. The area contains café's, restaurants, bars and some nightclubs in the local hotels. (The webmaster spent time in port on the TSS Island Breeze - looking at the big ships is often interesting and the marina for private boats is wonderful - and confirms the convenience of this place. At this end of Palma there's also an extremely convenient large shopping centre.) There are supermarkets, bakeries, newsagents and all necessary amenities in the immediate area.

The Zodiac complex comprises 3 buildings surrounded by well-kept gardens and terraces with stunning views of the bay of Palma. It has a large pool plus a children's pool and borders the sea. There is a ladder into a quiet cove to allow for swimming and water sports. The sandy Illetes beach is a 5-7 minute walk (or 2 minute cab ride) away. The complex has its own club with a terrace overlooking the sea from which lunch can be purchased. It is possible to go parasailing, water skiing, banana boating and to take windsurfing lessons at the hotel next door. There are tennis courts nearby.
The flat itself has two bedrooms, a family room with a dining area, a functional kitchenette and a shower/bath. It has air-conditioning, heating and a washing machine.
Towels and linens are provided. The flat overlooks the pool area and the sea but is secluded by trees and the gardens ensuring privacy and shade.
There is an administration office, which can give any assistance required, and cleaning services (for a fee) can be booked. A small in-house library is situated outside the administration.
GOLF
Real Golf de Bendinat An attractive course with spectacular views. This 18 hole par 70 golf course is a challenging undulating 5,660 meter woodland course. Opened in 1986 it incorporates a driving range (added in 1995) to complement its excellent facilities. Available caddy car, hire of clubs, trolley hire, TV room, tuition (3 golf professionals), pro shop, lockers, restaurant, bar, showers, social calendar including the annual summer season 'Concerts on the grass'. Non members may utilise the club. Advance tee times may be reserved to guarantee usage. Please contact for further details. Also there are several other top courses within a 20 min

CAR HIRE
Not essential, yet recommended, for exploring the island. The roads from and around Palma, the Island's Capital, are excellent. No journey should take more than 2 hours, except maybe on the twisting roads in the north of the island. There are numerous rental agencies just outside the Zodiac. The Caves of Drax on the East of the Island are well worth a visit.

Inland near Algaida: - Renovated 2 bedroom villa with optional 1 bedroom annex, gardens and pool in peaceful rural setting, just 20 minutes from Palma or nearest beach. Sleeps 4, or 6 if the annex is also rented (not available separately). 2008: Available from March 15th to July 12th.August 16th to September 13th.September 27th to October 31st.
Cala Egos: Choice of townhouse or rental apartments on the exclusive Marina Dor III development with large swimming pools, private garden and close to beach. Sleeps from 2 - 8 with 1,2 or 3 bedrooms 2008: Available 30th August - 6th September (6 people), 30th August - 9th Sept and 16th Sept onwards (1 bed apt), and from 19th Sept onwards (2 bed apt). Plus new luxury 5 bedroom villa sleeps 10 available from 30th August onwards.
Andratx countryside: - Child friendly villa with pool. Situated in the countryside and just a few minutes by car from Andratx beach. Heating, air conditioning and Broadband Internet for year round family holidays with children. 2008: Available from August 30th - 13th September, and 4th October onwards.
Luxury villa overlooking Puerto Andratx: This air conditioned villa is very private and has spacious living areas for family holidays. Covered terraces, out-door dining and a pool terrace make this a luxury rental. The twin garage has a lift for taking shopping down to the kitchen, although the temptation of the waterfront restaurants in Puerto Andratx means that aperatives and breakfast are the only meals likely to be taken on the terrace dining area. 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8. 2008: Good availability.
Cala D'Or:Six holiday apartments for rent at Cala d'Or with swimming pool, can be rented seperately or together for larger families who want to holiday together with some independence 2008: Good availability.
Alcudia:Family holiday 3 bedroom villa near Puerto de Pollensa in quiet part of popular resort 2008: Fully booked until 23rd Sept 2008. Available all week after that and bookings for 2009 being taken now!
Andratx countryside: - cottage and self contained apartment in countryside between Port Andratx and Andrax village a few minutes by car from beach. The accommodation comprises of a "Casita" (small cottage) and/or a double room in the main house. 2008: Good availability.
Cala d'Or: - 1 bedroom apartment with swimming pool 5 min to the Es Forti Beach. Sleeps 2/4 people.The marina of beautiful Cala d'Or attracts yachts and smaller craft from throughout the Mediterranean. 2008: Good availability.
Cala Murada: - 4 bedroom finca with garden in a quiet urbanisation just 5 minutes from the beach near Cala D'Or with heating making it suitable for Summer and Winter rentals. Sleeps 8. The Casita can be rented as a complete unit, or just the ground floor. Separate upper-floor flat. 2008: Good availability.
Pollensa (North): The villa can sleep 6 and has its own private pool. The villa is surrounded by magnificient places that you can visit, the beach is only 3 km away. 2008: Available from August 30th to September 7th, then from September 20th to 27th, October 8th to 12th, October 19th to 24th and from November 1st onwards.
